Voor
Voor het vak Research moeten we een project opstarten waarbij we mensen opnieuw bewust maken van openbare ruimtes en hen doen participeren. Dit is een cross-disciplinair project doorheen alle richtingen van de Media&Design Academie. Dit project is nog volop bezig. Momenteel zitten we in de observatiefase. Je kan alles op onze blog meevolgen.

Hello. We are Alexander, Laura, Margot, Michiel, Reginald, Thomas and Xavier and we study at the Media & Design Academy in Genk, Belgium. On this blog, we are tracking the progress of our research project about Public Spaces.
Our team is composed out of Animation, Photography, TV/Film, Communication & Multimedia Design and Graphic Design students, which is an interesting cross-over of various disciplines. We try to combine our different views on the world in this project, in order to come up with a creative solution to tackle the question “Are we still aware of the public space that surrounds us?”
We had to choose this year also for some modules in The Interfaculty at Maastricht. Last year I chose Creative Design and Virtual Web Organisation (More info). Ik heb een logo en folder ontworpen voor het Sint Anna Centrum. Hier was vooral speelsheid en kleur belangrijk voor de opdrachtgevers.
Voor mijn jeugdbeweging heb ik onze fuifaffiche ontworpen. Deze hing in groot formaat langs verschillende wegen rond Brugge. Onze fuif vond plaats op 11 september 2010, vandaar dat de WTC torens een kleine bron van inspiratie was.
For Creative Design (one of the modules I chose) we had to create a new product and develop a prototype. This was a group work together with other students from the Interfaculty at Maastricht. These studens were: Anna Strauta(LV), Huub Krauth(NL), Lars Kerff(NL) & Ramona Overlack(D).
