Okay recently updated my laptop with Windows Vista. I didn’t had any problems installing it, no problems running it, only Live Messenger keeps on bugging…
I’m now trying out the Windows Media Center, cool gimmick, I admit it looks like Mac, but hey than again it looks like the PSP media thing as well! The cool thing is that my TV Tuner card is compatible with the WMC and that I can schedule recordings etc… So as you hear no big problems, this afternoon I try the voice commands, not that I probably will use them, because I had something similar on my XP but I just didn’t use it…
Other things that are cool is that XP now really is indeed working the Mac way, they take control over every input device and is configured through the Windows Control Pannel. Things like iPods and other MP3-players or even USB sticks you now can configurate them to synchronisize with maps on your hard disk. All features you might have known but I didn’t had a clue they were integrated.
Actually the most things look very similar to XP and even in the beginning I had the feeling that the most things were just like in XP, but okay there is enough new stuff. To conclude: the Gadgets are a great addition and luckily there is still Hearts!
